Cannabis trim job
Cannabis trim job
I have a cannabis plant growing in the garden. I don't know exactly what it's genetics are and I did not plant it but it started growing in the winter. Because it started growing in the winter, during the spring the plant started budding. This was not ideal since because of the transition from spring to summer, the daylight hours and spectrum would not allow the plant to finish budding.
Typically, there is a 2-6 week transitioning time period from flower to vegetation due to light cycle changes. It's been about 4 weeks since I noticed the plant transitioning. I was able to notice this due to the leaves going from 6-8 'fingers' on a leaf to 4-1 fingers on a leaf.
Today, I trimmed off the old budding parts and funky leaves. This will hopefully allow the plant to stop using energy towards the old buds and start making new growing parts.
Thanks for stopping by! I'll make a more thorough video on all the cannabis plants we have here next.
