My Pyro Ankh! My Actifit Report Card: July 18 2026

Today I wanted to show off my Pyro Ankh! I used to work in a special effects department in the motion picture industry in my area.

Worked on some notable films during that time, including Inception, and Interstellar. As well as a host of smaller productions.

Pyrotechnics was part of the job, we would do bullet hits on bodies. Knock out windows with little charges. One could say we blew stuff up.

Some of those charges rod at the end of a couple copper wires. You'd send an electrical charge through that wire, And things would go boom and pop.

I used to save those electrical wires that were often painted red. And I started wrapping my own Pyro Ankh.

Some shows you do a lot of pyro and others just a little bit. But all this wire did add up.

Slowly but surely I did continue wrapping and Even though I've moved on from the special effects industry. I still have this Ankh I made!

Maybe one day I'll add to it again!
