Weekend Experience: Meeting With An Historical Person

If one studies from historical documentaries, with no doubt thousands of questions would linger through his mind stunned by the scientific discovery they were able to pull up. Questions like, "how did they know such a thing could produce a certain result?". Any other thing that's built today is upon foundations that had been laid thousands of years ago but among other wonderful discoveries ever seen, I consider the introduction of electricity the most unique. Virtually everything that's built today works with the concept of light and the rest uses energy in different forms.

If I could meet with any historical person from more than 100 years ago, It would be Micheal Faraday. In the ancient days, I believe there was no standard educational system like it is in this era, everything that was born was from the IQ of individuals, sometimes I wondered to what percentage to rate their intellectual quotient. I'd like to see the man who felt there was an energy that could be converted to power , how he looked in person, his lifestyle , his faith , and his belief. Sometimes encountering a person could help one possess his kind of spirit.

Till date, scientific discoveries still look strange to me. I have a million questions in my head that says "how is this possible?Two wires coiled up and melted on some silly chips could be activated to produce what's totally a miracle in the sight of humans". But walking/encountering Micheal Faraday may change my shallow reasoning, I may be able to see the possibility in everything, my thoughts could be widened to see the scientific world as it is (a place where everything is possible). Until we meet with great men who have a belief system that challenges the narrative and breaks our stereotypic way of reasoning, we may never grow out of our imaginary zone.

For all the days we'll be in contact, I'll only sit and learn. My micro-knowledge would be buried for one that will empower me to grow. No doubt, after the days of grooming, the world will birth a new Faraday who would not only see the world differently but will discover something the world has not seen. A student is a replicate of his teacher, and if I ever want to see the world differently, tapping from the unseen until it's made visible, I'll need a man who has the spirit of discovery and that's Micheal Faraday.
