The space between us
Who would have thought
That what we shared was like a mirage
Shiny, and attractive, yet was never there
An attraction that was lost before it began
Your memories still hurts
The roses at special occasions
The kisses that felt like forever
The promises of forever, an illusion i held onto
But you were gone
just when I thought of forever
Leaving me with the scents of all we shared
Promises and love that were never true
The space between us was my nightmare
While I sit beside my window writing
All I feel is pain, pain for the years I was made fool
But I'll sit here and wait, until I'm healed by time
And it no longer hurt this much
