The secret to wealth is not a secret
People who had reached a certain stage in building wealth in their joy would draft out a series of notes explaining what they call a secret to building wealth. They'll organize a seminar and charge people some bucks to reveal to them what they assume they don't know that has kept them in the rat race or poor. The truth is; they knew all they were taught, they only didn't apply it. Their common sense had all the knowledge they needed, it didn't require a school degree or masters to get in touch with these secrets, we had them all along but only failed to apply them.
Our common sense knows saving pays, and that wasting only leads us to poverty. Our common sense knows investing is good and having several sources of income helps, our common sense also knows that cutting budgets to solve pressing needs is good but what we failed to do is apply them. Sometimes it takes life's practical lessons to finally realize this truth and other times a strong desire to achieve our long dream. Inherent in us are knowledge of life, even a small child knows sharing his bread would only reduce it to a smaller size and sometimes saves money with his mum hoping to get returns in the future.
The secret to wealth are no secrets, they're principles life has laid down for everyone. Life seems to have given men two paths to choose, whichever we choose decides the result we get. Thousands of people attend business seminars , just a few breakforth, they both sit under the same roof, taught by the same teacher, but only a few succeed. Life deals with us differently, luck and chances still happen to us all and that's why what works for Mr. A may not work for Mr. B. If it was a secret , a particular strategy should work for everyone regardless of age and location because it's a secret made reveal.
There's no such thing as the ultimate secret to wealth, even the needs of people change over time, it is one's common sense that tells him to diversify. Reading financial books is good, going to financial seminars is great, listening to audios on financial management is great, learning never ends but the procedures are not secrets, they may not work for you, not every of these secrets or principles work. What ushers us to wealth is contact with luck and chance and the knowledge we gain in management can help sustain that which we own.
