Peace: Is It Achievable?
Since the creation of man, there has been a continuous string of dispute, conflict, and war. Even God who created man saw that the heart of a man is desperately wicked, what we often demand is what gives us peace, and not what brings peace to another. The fact that our needs and wants contradict that of another, peace would only be an illusion. Peace is achievable, but it comes with a high cost on the side or sides of those who seek it. This cost is what no one is ready to pay, because it comes picturing one as a weakling.

To achieve peace, one would need to give up his right. Like a child who can fight back but decide to take in the ridicule without reacting, but one thing about giving up our right is that the other party tries to take everything, because he doesn't see the side of sacrifice, he only assumes the peace seeker is weak and he is superior over him. So in a world where everyone doesn't want to assume the role of the weakling, but demands that he holds respect, it's almost impossible for peace to reign.
But if at all cost peace is demanded, the parties can go with a fair bargain. A trade by barter. Give me that which I seek and I give you what you want and we both go our ways. But just like the saying "the heart of a man is desperately wicked" one would surely aim to play smart, and that's where the crisis starts to build its root and trust remains planted on a shallow ground.
