A Merry Christmas

While others were busy celebrating the festival, I was down with typhoid and probably malaria. I know it has been the stress of the past weeks. I had been administered three injections and the medication will continue through this week. My temperature is high, yet feeling cold inside, no appetite for food and I hope I get to my feet soon. It's not easy watching others run about doing things and you're stuck on your bed because your body feels weary. I am not use to lying bedridden whenever I'm sick and I bless God for such grace and his healing over my health.

I just couldn't allow the entire Christmas season to pass without wishing my friends a merry Christmas. Everyone is special here, not minding your status in the ecosystem. Just like the beehive, we all have a special function that cannot be trivialized. A merry Christmas to all Nigerians on the platform, @starstrings01, @kemmyb, @zanoz, @nonsowrites, @shemzy, @deraaa, etc. I couldn't mention all names but you are also special reading this article.

Also, a merry Christmas to some amazing friends I have from the western countries, they mean a lot to me and have made my journey on the platform encouraging, @agmoore and @zeurich. I hope you all had a great celebration with friends and family and that your expectations for this season were fulfilled.

I'm getting better and I know I will be strong by tomorrow. I just couldn't eat the number of chicken I budgeted. It's truly a gift to be alive this season and eat from that which you've labored. Did you receive a box? Did you give someone a box? It's very important for the season to be fulfilled in the heart of the needy. A merry Christmas to you all (hiveans). I pray for life to celebrate this day again and again, let Christ be seen in your Christmas.
