Practice what you teach
MisJudging is far from a simple matter of giving yourself an avenue to wrongfully critique someone. It’s void of actual acknowledgement. It’s disingenuous. And one of the worse forms of belittlement.
As a christian, refraining from judging and condemning others is one of the most important virtues in our religion. Matthew 7:1 states “Judge not, that you be not judged.”
Like many people in our world, There are some Christians that always feel obliged to judge things or people. It is not our place to act superior to other religions or act indifferent to people who worship other gods.
With have to understand that a true Christian that internalises the teachings of the bible stays true to it’s word. And a lot of us fall in line with blatant hypocrisy even when we don’t realise it. We tell ourselves we don’t judge. Yet some condemn those who have different beliefs or serve another religion. We claim to share things as an act of kindness and compassion. Yet some use it as an excuse to take from others or commit sin.
Faith emphasises on authenticity. It practices humility. And communicates integrity. These values are preached, but to a great degree are not necessarily implemented by most. A lot of people find themselves going through the motion. Putting on a performance for the masses, not for God. A simple Christian congregation of devotion and grace drags on for hours. And it is not up to debate them some individuals mask their apparent interest in church activities just to deem themselves “just” in the eyes of God. When the praises stop and the prayers cease, they find themselves indulging in all soughts of sin.
Church may be a shepherds den. A place of spiritual cleansing and redemption but it’s not a sinners haven where people switch off there Godly demeanour once they step in. Pray with intent. Live with integrity. And be a genuine devoter to Christ
