Counting down to summer vibes

Just like Chris Rea called one of his great tracks "Looking for the Summer", so today, three weeks before summer officially arrives in the Northern Hemisphere, I'm looking for those summer vibes with my camera lens...

There were a lot of days last week that were even warmer than mid-summer.
On Monday, the thermometer showed +33°C, and I know that in some cities it went over 35°C (London or Paris).

That Monday was the right day to decide whether I would spend my pre-summer vacation in a city or by the sea.

And so, while today I'm using one of the days of my old annual vacation, and I'm sitting by the water of Belgrade's Ada Ciganlija lake, I'm imagining the days to come, when I'll dip my feet in the water of the Adriatic Sea.

If the temperature allows, maybe I'll submerge a little more than my feet.

Maybe I'll even dare to swim, like this swimmer on the lake 😀

But whatever the temperature may be, if it's not cloudy, I'll definitely move from the shade, where I'm sitting today, to the sun.

Today I am not equipped for the beach like some visitors (ie, female visitors) of Ada Ciganlija, but for going to the sea, I will be.

Tick-tock, tick-tock... I am listening today (on this beach of the lake) to the clock in my head, which brings me closer to summer every second, confirming every moment some summer vibes.

Swimming shorts, sunglasses, the sound of the waves, the smell of the sea, rustling in the nearby forest, the smell of sunscreen, drops on a glass of cold beer or a summer cocktail, relaxation and no worries... Except for having a good time and enjoying...
