A weekend with "too much" celebration
Someone would say that there is never enough celebrating and celebrating.
And I agree with that statement.
The last time I agreed that we almost always have few beautiful moments in life (because unfortunately we are separated from them by sad ones) was when I was listening to the story of relatives who were talking about two funerals and all the birthdays they celebrated in great company at a family celebration.
First birthdays were celebrated, eighty-fourth, twenty-sixth, eleventh...
And me?
I and my four friends, with whom I have been friends since elementary school and whom I have known for 45 years, had a great #weekend-experiences this weekend and celebrated the fiftieth birthday of the third fifty-year-old of the five of us..
That's why I wrote above this blurred photo that it weighs 5x50 years 🙂
He made a proper effort for his celebration, he chose a great house with a swimming pool, open bar, sound system with microphones and barbecue equipment...
He hosted a select group, and we helped ourselves to excellent food and drink.
I will share with you some of the photos of the space, I have blurred our pictures, so that no one is scared by our beauty, under no circumstances will I share the shots and photos when we were singing or when individuals ended up in the pool, and in a few pictures you can see the selection of drinks, which is why I wrote that we overdid it 🙂
The six of us drank four bottles of Chivas Regal whiskey 0.75l, and luckily one of our wives "hid" the tinsmith Jack Daniels, because he would have made fun of us.
Lest you think that this post is written by an alcoholic, I attend parties and birthdays when I don't even drink enough alcohol, but this weekend that was not the case.
We drank for half of Saturday, prepared food, swam in the pool, sang, danced... and after an interesting night, and a busy tidying up of the space that we had to hand over by 10:00 in the morning, we sobered up for half of the Sunday morning in that work action.
Days like these, and celebrations of this and similar types, with more or less alcohol. they stay in our memory for a long time (if someone doesn't remember, ask the one who remembers 🙂) and serve to retell them for many years to come.
