An Unusual Dance

This is my photo of the day — my wife with our dog, who is always ready to play. A beautiful December afternoon, bathed in warm autumn sunlight and perfect for a walk. In a setting like this, the mood rises naturally, just like this surprising weather.

Milica delighted us with what I can only call a strange little dance for two. In one spontaneous moment she decided to hug my wife, and my wife grabbed her paws and started dancing with her — to the joy of all of us present, especially the kids. Our younger son and our little daughter clapped excitedly and said they wanted to learn how to dance with the dog too.

My wife has that hidden sense for animals — like a kind of Doctor Dolittle — speaking a language only they understand, winning them over with gestures, mimicry, tone, and yes, even dance. For me, this was simply a perfect moment, one I managed to capture in a photo that will definitely have its place in our family album.

And Milica — well, she will surely continue to surprise and amaze us with new tricks and funny moments. All the beauty of the day somehow settled into this small moment of play and smiles.
