DUO Status Update - 7/29/24

It's time for an update on how things are going with DUO! There's been a lot happening, so let's dive in and see the status of the project! Be sure to read the end as we have an exciting announcement!

HP Growth
We opened up sales to early adopters. Right now we're sitting at 10,568 HP! That is amazing considering we're just about ready to start dividends next month (August 1st)!

Everything has been powered up to this point. We'll be staking all Hive-Engine tokens earned through July to create a baseline for curation. After that, 90% of all tokens, HBD, etc., will be sold off and paid out as dividends. Only 10% will be staked or powered up in order to grow the project.

Right now, nothing has been delegated to the HOC account while we're still growing the project. We didn't set an exact timeline for this, but we will announce this change once it's effective.

Dividends and Tipping
Just as a reminder, you must stake 200 DUO to receive dividends and be eligible for post curation. The tipping requirements are as follows:

500 staked tips 0.1 (1x/day)
1k staked tips 0.2 (1x/day)
5k staked tips 0.3 (1x/day)
10k staked tips 0.5 (2x/day)

Dividends start on 8/1, so be sure to check your Hive wallets and enjoy those sweet dividends! They'll keep growing over time! 😁

Right now, DUO is being sold for 1 Hive each. There's still a good amount of the original 40,000 available from the second tranche. Remember, the third tranche goes up to 1.5 Hive each, so don't miss out!

DUO Outreach Ideas
We're looking for input from all of you on getting word out to more communities on Hive. If any of you have good connections within the various communities on Hive, know of someone else who could help introduce DUO to other communities, etc., please reach out to us! The more the project grows and curates, the more all DUO stakers see the rewards from it!

Dividend Celebration Contest
To celebrate the start of dividends on 8/1, we're holding a contest that will last for the entire month of August!
