It's time for an update on how things are going with DUO! There's been a lot happening, so let's dive in and see the status of the project!

HP Growth

We opened up sales to early adopters two week ago. Right now we're sitting at 5,555.714 HP! That is amazing considering the recent launch of DUO.

Everything has been powered up to this point. We'll be staking all Hive-Engine tokens earned through July to create a baseline for curation. After that, 90% of all tokens, HBD, etc., will be sold off and paid out as dividends. Only 10% will be staked or powered up in order to grow the project.

Right now, nothing has been delegated to the HOC account while we're still growing the project. We didn't set an exact timeline for this, but we will announce this change once it's effective.

Dividends and Tipping

Duo tip bot has launched earlier this week and can be called upon with !DUO
The tipping tiers are as follows:

500 staked tips 0.1 (1x/day)
1k staked tips 0.2 (1x/day)
5k staked tips 0.3 (1x/day)
10k staked tips 0.5 (2x/day)

Dividends testing
The dividends script has been tested successfully and some funds have been dispended to DUO stackers, as mentioned in the white paper and these update posts the dividends from the first month will go toward building up the duo-curator HP to deliver better votes for our stakers dividends will be coming into effect August 1st!

Just as a reminder, you must stake 200 DUO to receive dividends and be eligible for post curation.

Community buy ins

The Duo team has made a deal with wearelegion, we currently hold 2000 LGN and the hive drips we get from this will go toward dividends starting August 1st.

Right now, DUO is being sold for 0.5 Hive each for early adopters. Of the 20,000 available around 11,000 have been sold! It's a great idea to get in early because the next tranche of 40,000 DUO will be sold for 1 Hive each! Get in early while there's still time!
