Duce Crypto's S176 - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 89 Report Card
There's only 45 minutes left in season S177, so it's best I hurry up and finish this report before the time runs out, and the data from S176 is lost to me. Sadly, S176 is the last season I will be actively playing Modern ranked for the next few seasons, due to some serious ski plans for my sister's wedding in March. With that in mind, let's jump right into the stats for S176.
Match Report
Performance
| Stat | # Modern | # Wild |
|---|---|---|
| Rank | Champion I53 | Champion I11 |
| Rating | 4440 | 6080 |
| Rating High | 4460 | 6100 |
| Ratio (Win/Loss) | 1.28 (120/94) | 1.89 (233/123) |
| Longest Streak | 10 | 8 |
In Ranked play, I only managed to play 214 battles in Modern compared to 346 battles for the automated service in Wild. Nevertheless, I finished with a 56% win rate by winning 120 of my 214 Modern battles. In comparison, the new @splinterhub bot finished with a 65.4% win rate by winning 233 of its 346 battles in Wild. Still no survival mode in S176, but the format makes its glorious return in S177. I'll be able to report back on Survival Mode soon.

Glint season rewards will show in the season they are claimed.
Despite the disparity of 120 Modern wins vs. 233 Wild wins, the total earned SPS from Ranked rewards for S176 were within 200 SPS.
From 120 Modern wins, I earned 6578 SPS, for an average of 54.8 SPS/win and 30.7 SPS/battle.
From 233 Wild wins, I earned 6408 SPS, for an average of 27.5 SPS/win and exactly 18 SPS/battle.
Altogether, I earned 12986 SPS from Ranked rewards, for a combined average of 36.8 SPS/win from 353 total wins and 22.8 SPS/battle from 570 total battles. On top of all that SPS, I also earned nearly 106K Glint from Ranked play (before leaderboard bonuses) to further bolster my rewards.
⭐ SPS Report
| Type | ⭐ Amount |
|---|---|
| Staking Rewards | 1680.915 |
| Ranked Rewards as above | 12986.405 |
| Brawl Rewards | 472.113 |
| Land Rewards | 23088.364 |
| NET SPS | 38227.797 |
As noted in my last SPS report, my staking rewards dropped due to the SPS unstake I made to purchase Escalation mini-set packs. 1681 SPS is still plenty of a reward for keeping about 750K SPS staked. Brawl rewards stayed consistently around 150 SPS per brawl in Tier 5, for a total of 472 SPS in S176.
But even bigger than my SPS ranked rewards was the SPS earned from mining 11 occupied plots across the 52 active plots. 23088 SPS was mined from land in S177, a true testament to the passive earning potential of land gameplay in Splinterlands.
Finally, unlisted in this section are my Tournament rewards from the public @sps.dao events. Over the 21 tournaments I registered for, I earned a total of 5965.6 SPS. Unfortunately, my inability to make time to play all my tournament battles was a struggle in S176 -- what's new?! I only played all of the battles in 7 of the 21 events for a pathetic 33% completion rate. At least I made Day 2 in 5 of the 7 events.
Sadly, in another 9 events, I fled Round 1 for full DEC entry fee capitulation. Then, in two other events, I earned the minimum SPS prize by taking down a few wins before forfeiting the rest of the battles. Finally, there were three events where I threw away a strong Day 1 performance by fleeing from all of my battles in Day 2. In all honesty, tournament play is the one area where I am most excited to see how my account can earn SPS without me calling the shots. You'll have to check out the S177 report to see exactly how well!
All in all, I earned a whopping 38227.8 SPS from Staking, Ranked, Brawl, and Land rewards combined. Add in another 5965.6 SPS from tournament prizes for a combined total of 44193.4 SPS accumulated in S176.
Based on today's spot SPS price of 0.0061 USD, I earned $269 worth of the Splinterlands' governance token. This is still a tremendous amount of earning potential from the best Web3 TCG in the world that has been running for over 7.5 years! It is a true testament to the lasting power and continued development of the Splinterlands, which I love playing every single day! I look forward to reporting back on S177 soon to see how well I fared in the new survival mode. Until next time...
