FA Cup 3rd Rd -- Actifit Report Card: January 11, 2025

Saturday was all about the FA Cup 3rd round matches out at the Chelsea pub and soccer hangout The Football Factory right by The Empire State Building. It's literally across the street and an amazing place to watch the beautiful game. If it's on, they pull it up and stream it, which is exactly why it's a great place to watch many games at once. I even got the Guv'nor Jack to switch on a fifth stream to get the battle of the birds btwn Brighton and Norwick. FA Cup tournament is grand.

A bunch of regulars turned out at the pub to rep the New York Blues and Chelsea out up a big crooked numbers against a minor league team, 5-0 with their midweek B team.

The kitchen at FF always comes correct with the breakfast menu. Whether it's the bacon butty, Irish breakfast, or my steak and eggs, it will fill you up right. This fresh, clean meal was just what I needed to stay on top of my intake while out on the road. It is just something I'm going to have to come to grips with as we start to go out more in NYC again.

All my activity was centered on my morning trip to the bar. I have a nice 10 minute walk to the train and have an easy stroll for Herald's Square to get to the bar. I got home, made some food, cleans a few things, and settled in for a movies marathon. I made it through The Usual Suspects before falling asleep. Until next time...
