What a whirlwind news last night....

When witnesses of the legacy accounts in STEEM were almost waving their stakes into the hands of the person / corporation that they didn't like....

Things took a turn.... a double hack happened!

Till now we are not certain what is going to happen to it, but I think the time-bomb is starting to tick on the (once) greener side of the platform...

(pun intended on the colour)

As a steward of funds for this account in that side of the plain, if you have read my old post that was being migrated over here before you would know when I pushed for STEEM's mass adoption, DSES was teaming up with @gtpjfoodbank to round donors to purchase STEEM over to the earnings for the Food Bank in order to help under privileged families

These were the people (at the front) that made that happened, and I personally would prefer to secure their steem over as well because when they purchased the STEEM back then, the price was double of the current value of HIVE

Therefore the account over the other side will initiate a power down for their invested stakes (and accumulated along the way), once that is done in 4 weeks whatever that was accumulated over there will be converted to the stake of this account so that their generosity and support to keep this account going for the sake of this community continues.

In the mean time while this account over the other side receives its curation rewards, the delegators who staked there received in either HP or HIVE based on the time I checked the conversion price range between STEEM and HIVE.

Of course, with STEEM's value weaker than HIVE, even with more steem collected, the HIVE / HP value will be lesser.

This will continue until DSES totally exhausted its support over the other side where delegators stop supporting the account there / steem is totally wrecked.

As for the HIVE platform

In order to compensate my absence in the HIVE network due to lockdown offline works that I have been tied up with, the author rewards right now will be distributed out as per the % of stake holders of this account

And it will be based on this percetage above (rounded by 1 digit)

Just realised that there's only 10 beneficiaries could receive this including @null, therefore only those who are receiving automatically are @mariusfebruary , @majes.tytyty , @gtpjfoodbank , @devann, @faithpersists , @fusion.lover , @dbfoodbank ; while the rest when the reward is collected it will be recalculated and re-distributed

Thanks to @faithpersists and @joshwcy with however little amount they delegated. This account has successfully maintained in a 1K HP above so whatever manual curated upvotes here is done it will also be recalculated and distributed correctly later.

Will DSES be promoting HIVE later to donors in the real world just like during the STEEM days?

Perhaps. Because in such a time like this, fiat seems so scarce and uncertain, while many out there who may be very talented in content creation are out of jobs. Nevertheless the promoting through Charitable Investment will still continue especially when the Food Bank has quite a bit set aside in USDT for real life donors / exchange with buyers to help under privileged families; but this is a very special and exciting thing going on that only the 3 main entities in HIVE who are running a joint-program are entitled to make a full coverage when it is done.

So stay tuned! There's definitely a post coming soon, and I truly hope that with this little project a community such as HIVE could see that tokens can be used for a long of meaningful ways beyond trading and games.
