My hand has moved.
The die is cast.
What be, will be
and fate now
takes its turn.
Destiny? Quixotic dream
unleashed upon the world?
Perfection?
power, wonderment?
The ugly death
of poverty,
more like.
Dreams of mortals
rarely breathe
