This is Turnip the cat. He’s one of several strays we have fostered, but since he is ridiculously cute and sweet we have decided to keep him. Well, until my wife stole him. The kids and I are plotting a rescue mission.

This was the first time in almost 8 months that I had played with paint. As you can tell if you’ve been following I was doing a lot of oil pastels and figure models. Picking up paint and doing an animal was both refreshing and challenging.

I’m posting every painting I have ever done from 2014 to the present, the good, the bad, and the ugly. With an occasional photograph or sketch thrown in just to mix things up. Check back daily to see my progression as an “artist”!
