At The Beach
At the Beach, Acrylic on Paper, 2015
It is striking to me that this was painted long before I went to a life drawing class. The shapes aren’t particularly bad, but the shading is wow… is she dead? I also could have done a bit more with the water and the sand. This looks unfinished, perhaps a little more could have been done to make it look a bit more wrapped up.
I’m posting every painting I have ever done from 2014 to the present, the good, the bad, and the ugly. With an occasional photograph or sketch thrown in just to mix things up. Check back daily to see my progression as an “artist”!
