Pre-event testing before Sardinia!

Hello rally fans :)!

Have you ever wondered how it’s like to be in a WRC competitive car?

Well, let me show you how it’s like :).

Slaven had a test on Monday before Sardinia and I came too.

They started early with car registration, which went smoothly and that always a relief😅. Slaven’s engineer Giorgio accompanied him, having come all the way from Italy with the rally car. Poor man had to travel all the way back too that same day😭..

Slaven did recce, prepped the notes, and then it was time: for the HIVE.IO Rally car 😎!! The moment the car launched, the test began.

They ended up doing about 40 kilometers of testing. Not a full day, but definitely valuable time in the car. And what a car it is my friends.. the power, the precision, the sheer intensity of a WRC3 machine is something else entirely. Every bump, every gear shift, every detail matters. Once Giorgio made a tweak and softened the rear end, the car transformed — it became so much smoother, more confident in the corners. It was incredible to feel and see the difference instantly.

Slaven’s driving was sharp, impressive, violent (the car is literally asking you to be driven) but so smart and careful.

This brought new perspective and knowledge into my life of the rally world. Very cool insight to have.
