Dancing and Singing Through a Cold, Hard Winter!

It has been bitterly cold here in upstate NY, by far the coldest winter we've experienced in years.

So getting out tends to be a whole chore, except when it comes to my brother's gigs-they are something to look forward to!

Out of this frigid window you can see Seneca Lake in the background. I'm always a bit enthralled with how something that is so inviting in the summer transforms into something daunting and deadly.

A very different kind of beauty.

But nothing makes an Arctic winter day more cozy than viewing it from the vantage point of a fieldstone fireplace, ahh.

And of course nothing warms the heart more than gathering with old friends :0)

Especially when the businesses this time around are ignoring the wicked witch- aka the interim NY governor- basically giving her a silent F U.

Makes my heart happy 😁

And definitely makes for more pleasant outings.

No, this isn't me reverse mask shaming, honestly I'm all for doing what makes you happy, as long as it's a choice.
