Hello everyone! 😊

My name is Joseph Blessing Ukamaka, but many people know me as Double Blessing. I’m a proud daughter of Christ. That means I am a Christian by faith, lol and I am from Enugu State, although I was born in Ondo, Lagos State of Nigeria and I was raised in my hometown Nsukka, which is under Enugu State, Nigiera.

I have successfully completed both my primary and secondary school education, and right now I’m working towards gaining admission into the University of SUMAS, Igbo-Eze North. I’m hopeful and excited about the next chapter of my academic journey.

Back in JSS1, something special happened that boosted my confidence, I was among five students selected to be Science Laboratory Keepers. It was a proud moment for me, even at that young age I was eager and ready to serve in the laboratory. Not long after, I transferred to a private school, and because of my punctuality and dedication, I was appointed as the office girl. That also came as a surprise, but I was really happy about the improvement I am seeing in my life. My parents were even more excited, although they used to laugh about how much homework I brought home every day 😅.
Growing up, I have always been a very hardworking girl. I love helping out, and during my free time, I assist my aunty in her cashew nut business which wasn't a soft one. After finishing secondary school, I moved to Abuja where I learned a lot of practical skills. I trained as a baker, learning how to make wedding, traditional, and birthday cakes, as well as other small chops. I also sell bakery equipment, which I learned through training in Garki Old Market and Utako Market Abuja. Later on, I also trained in Kurudu Market where I improved my baking and business skills. Now, I not only bake and sell, but I also train others who are interested in learning how to bake. What a privilege to learn all this at early age.

One thing I truly love from the bottom of my heart and can’t live without is music. It’s not just a hobby, it's in me. I sing and listen to music a lot, especially gospel songs. I enjoy playing music so much that one time, my aunty had to seize my memory card because she said all I ever used my phone for was listening to music 😄. Music gives me life. Sometimes I even sleep with my music on, and I wonder if I continue listening in my dreams! That’s how deep my love for music runs. It was an uncontrollable experience. Honestly, gospel music makes me feel like I’m already in heaven. Music is my vibe and my joy. It heal me from many things and I am looking forward to sharing music here too, Though I am not in any musical group yet.
