A New Moon Tide walk and then the snow came
Today's vlog has us relishing in the New Moon tide. I love both full and new moon tides as they are extremes: you get the highest and lowest tides thus. It often can give you the tidal flats which is wondefrul for mud larking and fiinding treasure. It is also a good time to watch the shore birds go wild with the banquet laid open for them on the exposed sea bed; like some great feast set before them by Poseiden.
I've decided to unashamedly keep creating my vlogs about my walks. My daily rambles are a bit part of my life and so it makes me happy to captue moments of them to share. I've decided that as I shall be 'at home' much more this coming year, this world of sea and field and wood and studio is really the vastness of it at present. I am lucky tho, and appreciate it daily, that my 'at home' still gives me a variety of landscapes in which to explore, play and be inspired.
I'm hoping as the year begins to ripen , perhaps I'll be venturing out more for Antiquing and Thrifting as well, perhaps after gardens are planted and Spring is well underway.
Today, however, we have only the sea and it's tide and the song of it's movement to share; I hope you enjoy it and if it takes you out of yourself for even a brief moment or gives you a spark of joy, I feel I've done my job.
I hope you can find your moment of joy in your day and remember, stay creative.
