So much for being financially conservative..
Republicans are traditionally believed to be conservative financially, aren't they? But you know what's not conservative? ...further extortion of consumers via added "fees" like tariffs on goods.
We are far away from any discussion of truly free markets or limited government, this is the opposite direction of that.
These actions of tariffs directly contradict those principles.
This is unnecessary infringement once again from the state in the economy, it's another variation of their intervention that will work to raise prices for consumers.
