Judicial reform in Israel protested by thousands
There have been some huge demonstrations in Israel lately with an estimated 100k people taking to the streets to reportedly protest over potential judicial reforms in the country. Some people were seen holding signs that read Bibius Caesar and it might even lead to some resignations from ambassadors abroad who don't want to work with the new government.
Critics say that this is the most right-wing government that they've faced and there has been enough concern that many have taken to the streets to protest. Some have described the gathering as a fight for the destiny of the region, and there are questions about the judicial reform that might be going on within the country.
There is worry with many that tyranny might unfold and for those familiar with tyranny they should know that it can come from any direction, right or left.
Some were seen waving flags that read no to dictatorship, others read 'democracy is dead', with people from a variety of groups coming out to be heard.
Will things escalate? Will the people be silenced? Will they be forced to endure a new prevalence of tyranny in the region? We can expect that most aren't going to endure these sorts of political changes silently.
