Interest Growing For CityCoins

Miami was the first to be the test case for a CityCoin, coming out with the MiamiCoin which has already far surpassed expectations as far as what has been earned with that MiamiCoin.

CityCoins, a non profit, launched the coin and it's expected that MiamiCoin is the first but it certainly won't be the last of its kind.

There are high hopes for what MiamiCoin and other similar coins might be able to achieve in the future.

Could MiamiCoin and other coins help to fund the region and its social programs etc, could it possibly replace taxes for the region? They have already brought in millions with MiamiCoin alone.

MiamiCoin trades on an exchange and is open for people to invest in, anyone can also mine the coin and 70% goes to miners, with the other 30% going to the city wallet.

Now after the MiamiCoin has come out and is doing well, there is also a NYCCoin too.

NYC Coin generated roughly $10,000 every ten minutes for the city of New York on its first day

Could Austin, Texas be coming up next? It might not take long for it to start moving quickly and for many more coins to come out.

MiamiCoin is generating about $2k every 10 minutes for the city.

MiamiCoin is bringing in a lot of money, generating millions within weeks. That is the sort of money that cities around the U.S. cannot ignore.

With the discussion of residents in Miami getting paid dividend payments from that as well it also adds a lot of excitement for this opportunity to spread around the U.S. and elsewhere.

What are city coins?

CityCoins are cryptocurrencies that enable the user to support their favorite city and earn bitcoin and stack tokens.

"CityCoins allow you to put a city into your portfolio" - P. Stanley, founderand CEO of CityCoins

In the MiamiCoin wallet you can see that it has already generated over $20 million for the city. The NYCCoin has almost generated $2 million.
