Entire Burger King Staff Quits

When the entire team quits then it might be time to re-think the business management strategy that's been failing.

Just recently an entire team quit a Burger King in Nebraska, and workers put up a sign saying 'We All Quit, Sorry For The Inconvenience' which quickly went viral after it was posted outside the restaurant.

Why did they quit? It depends on who you ask. So far some of the complaints are that they couldn't get equipment fixed, they've allegedly been having to work without A/C in the kitchen, and that there has been a general failure of management and them not caring enough about employees.

According to a spokesperson,

"The work experience described at this location is not in line with [BK] brand values,"

They are looking to hire for those positions that are now vacant.

Right now it is hard for a variety of businesses to find workers, some have said that they are getting 1 or two applicants a month now for open positions, compared to dozens they might have used to see each time they posted a job posting.

Those in the industry and outside of it criticize the notion that it is a labor shortage and note it is a 'wage shortage' that is causing the problem with the lack of interest for entry level positions like this today. From having to deal with issues with the public, or people filming those employees at work, the low pay or bad treatment from management etc, it's no wonder many might not be interested any longer. Which is why we see various companies today trying to do better than they've been doing.
