Brain Implant Human Tests Coming Soon?
Looks like Musk received approval for human clinic tests to begin for his brain implant company.
The idea is for it to be fully implantable and designed to let the individual with the implant be able to control a mobile device or computer by extension. It isn't known what sort of human trials might begin and what that experiment is going to look like. Ultimately, the hope is that this sort of technology could provide market solutions for individuals suffering from physical impairments for example be able to regain their ability to communicate and more, with the use of neural signals. Who knows what other implications it might have down the line.
It could hold promise for restoring vision for example, enhancing mobility and more.
How does the market feel about such potential though?
How many might be swayed by some educational marketing tactics eventually? Or stories circling online about what individuals have to say about such an experience? Those who are more familiar with such implanted devices and the technology behind it might be more optimistic to engaging with such a scenario for themselves for example. There is huge potential for this technology to be adopted around the world and who knew approval for human trials could come about this quickly.
