It’s is a very convenient phrase I use daily. It is informal but still widely used is the most elite of settings.
▪️Meaning -Thank you !/ Hello / Nice to meet you!
▪️literal meaning - very
Dōmo arigatou - Thanks very much.
Dōmo Hajime mashite - very nice to meet you.
