Be careful In These Streets.
So yesterday on my commute to work, my usual route was jam packed with traffic. I knew there must have been an accident so decided to take a back route in order to get to work on time. In my mind, it was probably a little fender bender and the cars were in the way blocking up traffic.
As I got on the back roads, I tried to cut out the area where the accident happened and get back on the usual route. But then I came to an area that was blocked by a mid sized fire truck on a single traffic small road. A fire man approached me and said:
“sorry, you can’t pass here as we are pumping water now and can’t move the fire truck. Go down south”.
So I had no choice but to reverse the car all the way down the small road with ditches on both sides. As I was reversing I realized the extent of the damage and did what any phone baring human would do… you, take a picture.
It seems a trick collided with a car and it flipped over? I’m not sure but what I can make from this picture is that they were still trying to get someone out the car.
At work later, I arrived around 30 minutes late, whah is no problem as I’ve been there for a while and they trust and respect 🫡 me. But I later heard that a man died in the accident. Man, I feel sorry for him and his family and even prayed about it last night. You really never know when it’s gonna be your time.
Be careful out there folks, walk with God and pray throughout your day.
Stay blessed, stay safe.
