Its no news that Liverpool is currently the top in the English premier league. As good as this is, its important that they can maintain this position so as to stand a chance to win the premier league. Liverpool has not been able to win a trophy in the last 6 years. This seems like a good opportunity for them to break that jinx.
The Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has explained that he believes that trophies matters a lot to a team. He explained that he believes that a team should have the potency to fight for trophies, and that winning of trophies should be set as a clear goal or any team.
However, the Liverpool’s manager explained winning trophies is not just all of it in the premier league. He believes that doing the best with his team is more important than winning of trophies. He also explained that despite the fact that Liverpool didn’t win the champions league last season, they had a brilliant ride and they enjoyed it.
