Bikes and Drops.
This thing about taking photos of bikes has become more frequent than I thought. A few days ago I was walking towards Chacabuco park in the Caballito neighborhood in Buenos Aires, I had the intention of entering the park and in fact I did, I took some photos there and on the way back to the subway station I couldn't resist the urge to stop and try to get good shots.
I was excited because it was raining, it was a foggy day and I only had the 55-200mm lens and I had a few minutes free.
It's these moments where I wish I had a macro lens, there are many details that are usually attractive and drops are one of these.
I don't like the blue of these bikes too much, I preferred the orange color they had before, I tried to soften the tone and lighten it a little because they have an intense blue.
I took some shots of the seats and pedals trying to get as close as I could with this lens, although the idea of inverting the lens to try some macros didn't occur to me, I'll do it next time.
One of the shots I have always wanted to do is capture a reflection through a drop, for this I will have to wait to buy the macro lens I think. For now these are the closest shots I could take.
There have been several times that I have shared photos of bikes, especially from the Ecobici bike rental stations.
It's much easier and more comfortable for me because they don't have an owner, so I don't have a stranger's bike that could cause me problems.
I have all the patience when trying several shots and since there are many parked ones I can also find a bit of symmetry.
I hope you have enjoyed this theme and this photographic exercise, which in a certain way was :)
Have a great and productive weekend!
That's all folks! Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
