Purchasing a few food items.
I took a short trip to the market in my hometown. It's called Itam Market. Itam is the name of the area.
I wanted to buy groundnut, some fishes and a few other things.
My first stop was at a point where groundnut, rice and beans were sold. I bought a 5 cups of rice for 600 naira. I also bought some groundnuts.
I proceeded to buy stockfish and dried fish.
I bought dried fish worth 450 naira and that was half of the stick. I bought stock fish of 400 naira too.
I bought some onions too. The onions were sold at 200 naira per stand.
And I bought crayfish. Things have gotten really expensive and I think crayfish is the worst of it all. The first portion of crayfish you can see there is 500 naira. It's small and so expensive but I bought it regardless.
I also bought this animal skin meat called kpomo. They were so clean and fresh. I bought one worth 200 naira them I called it a day.
This is my entry on today's market Friday. Thank you for reading.
All pictures are mine and were taken with my phone.
