I Had a Food-filled Weekend
A lot of people who really know me know that I love food. I love good food. I love to eat sweet things. I'm not a fan of snacks or junks but I have a thing for ice cream and shawarma. I don't know how to say no to these two.
Last weekend happened to be the best weekend I've had in a while because I ate well. We were all tired and hungry but no one was willing to cook at home so I was asked to go out and get edibles for everyone. I was super excited.
Prior to this moment I was not in a good mood. Was just in my room alone and I've been avoiding everyone but at the mention of food, my face lit up and I was beaming with smiles. I took everyone's order and went to get them.
First I went to an eatery called Dechoice and I got fried rice and chicken for my brother. Then I went to Crunchies and got two wraps of special shawarma. The special shawarma contains a mix of beef, chicken and hotdogs.
My last bus stop was Coldstone Creamery where I got a cup of chocolate ice cream.
That's where I equally got the shock of my life😂 I have never been to this particular place before so I didn't know what their price range was like. I got this medium size cup of ice cream for N5,600 which is about $13.44. Now that was ridiculous!😂 I was surprised but I was determined to have ice cream and so I bought it regardless.
We all had an amazing time at home eating together. I was right there helping anyone who had a problem finishing his or her food. I have a big problem with people wasting food but I was careful not to overfeed myself in the process.
So who else had a food-filled weekend? Tell me about it! 😁
