A Costly Mistake
This is old news. Someone lost 140 ETH on 15 August. That is a huge amount. I wonder about the psychological impact of such a loss.
I just stumbled upon this piece of information while checking my BitGet account. If this is true, this tells us that one needs to do a triple check of an address before sending funds to it.
In my less than 4 years of experience in cryptocurrency, I committed mistakes, I think, three times in crypto transactions. The good thing is that the amount is insignificant.
