The History / Die Geschichte

Der Muttertag ist ein Tag zu Ehren der Mutter und der Mutterschaft. Er hat sich seit 1914, beginnend in den Vereinigten Staaten, in der westlichen Welt etabliert. Im deutschsprachigen Raum, den USA und anderen Ländern wird er am zweiten Sonntag im Mai gefeiert. Im Vereinigten Königreich wird hingegen der vierte Sonntag in der Fastenzeit als Muttertag begangen.

Mother's Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. It is celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, most commonly in the months of March or May. It complements similar celebrations honoring family members, such as Father's Day, Siblings Day, and Grandparents Day.

A cake for Mother / Ein Kuchen für Muttern

This year we had some flowers but as well a wonderful cake.

Dieses Jahr gab es nicht nur Blumen, sondern auch einen wunderbaren Kuchen.

Mascarpone & Cream / Mascarpone & Sahne

From the outside, the Mother's Day cake has a fine layer of mascarpone & cream that has been refined a little with a puree of the fruits.

Von aussen hat der Muttertags-Kuchen eine feine Schicht aus Mascarpone & Sahne die ein wenig mit einem Püree aus den Früchten verfeinert wurde.

Chocolate inside / Schokolade drinnen

The fruits, fresh raspberries and blueberries are in the cake in the cream as well as on top of the cake as a visual treat.

Die Früchte, frische Himbeeren und Blaubeeren sind in der Torte in der Creme wie auch oben auf der Torte als optische Verführung.

Add a coffee / Und nen Kaffee dazu

Mother was happy / Muttern war glücklich
