Friday Afternoon, during the #Hive
MeetupAachen 13, we enjoyed some time at the “Three Border Point” in Belgium, the Netherlands and in Germany.

Being smart beer lover, we choosed a restaurant at the Belgium 🇧🇪 part of this area. Means some different beers for the people as f.e. @blkchn was asking for advice to taste a Belgium beer. He got a Leffe blond and was really happy with this while I went for a little “dwarf” means a “La Chouffe”

About La Chouffe

La Chouffe beer has quickly become one of my favorites. Originating from the picturesque Achouffe village in Belgium, this beer embodies the charm and creativity of its birthplace. La Chouffe was first brewed in the 1980s by two brothers-in-law who started as hobbyists but quickly became masters in their craft. Their passion and dedication to brewing are evident in every sip.

When it comes to taste, La Chouffe is something special. It’s a strong Belgian ale with a golden hue that immediately catches your eye. The first thing you notice is its fruity aroma, bursting with notes of citrus and coriander. As you take your first sip, the flavors unfold beautifully. There’s a delightful balance of sweetness and bitterness, with hints of spices and a subtle hop finish. The complex yet smooth taste makes it incredibly drinkable, despite its 8% ABV. So, better have just one for the taste.

Whether I'm enjoying it on a cozy afternoo outside at the „Three Borders Point” or sharing it with friends at a gathering, La Choufe never disappoints. It’s a beer that invites you to savor the moment, appreciating the craftsmanship and history behind each bottle. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re in for a real treat.
