We should be aware of the emotional elements in order to achieve an effective communication.
The importance of understanding the emotional motivation of people with whom you are communicating is very key.
Asides emotional Intelligence, any effort to address emotional issues must be based on sincerity.
People will know when you are saying empty words,when your appreciation, approval, admiration or attention is completely false.
Just as pathos is linked to ethos, emotional response are linked to credibility.
If you don't believe what you are saying, don't expect others to believe you.
