ARABIAN TEAPOT BECOME AN ANTIQUE IN THIS CENTURY
Hello Hive Classic, how are you today ?, i hope everything is good
Today I will show you an antique that is in my house, this item was a gift from my teacher for me as a gift when he came home from Umrah in MeccaToday I will show you an antique that is in my house, this item was a gift from my teacher for me as a gift when he came home from Umrah worship in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
This thing has been with me since the 2000s, and I clean it all the time. I used to use it often as a tea kettle and now I rarely use it because I'm afraid I'll break it any time. This antique decorates my closet with other items.
This tea pot is slightly smaller than usual, it is intended so that it is easy for us to carry or lift it even when it is full, with its small size this teapot will not feel heavy.
This teapot is also equipped with a comfortable handle for easy carrying. Above the handle they provide an insulator made of special plastic to prevent our hands from getting hot when carrying it and even filling it with hot water.
If you want to fill water, tea, or something like that, you can fill it from above. All you need to do is open the lid and all you have to do is fill it up. By opening the lid, you can easily fill something into it.
This is how it looks inside.
On the inside it looks very spacious, so we can fill a lot of liquid and its slightly widened shape allows for quite a lot of liquid to be filled. The basic material for making this teapot is copper, that's what makes a shiny yellow color on each side, if you polish it often, you will get a shiny bright yellow color for a long time. The Copper base material also makes it resistant to rust, of course the Copper has been mixed with other metals such as Nickel or so on. This is very useful considering that the use of this teapot is not far from water and other liquids which when exposed to metal often cause rust.
On the side there is Arabic writing and I don't know what it means. The writing was added to remember the origin of this teapot from Arabia and for the decoration on the teapot.
On the other side, you will see a silhouette or a typical view of the desert in the Arabian region where from the painting we can feel the atmosphere in the desert in the Arabian region.
This is very similar to what existed in the Golden Age and the kingdom always made the identity of the maker in the goods he made.
This is the funnel part. The funnel is designed so that the liquid does not splatter when pouring it, the poured liquid will not splash everywhere. This equipment is purely handmade, the craftsmen make it with traditional equipment to maintain the characteristics of the item.
This is what the top looks like, very simple and dynamic. This teapot is also durable with reasonable use, very flexible and also very easy to use. For those of you who were born in the 1990-2000s, you will be very happy if you get this gift from someone who has just returned from Saudi Arabia because in that year, something like this is an extraordinary thing.
Maybe that's all I can discuss in my first post on the Hive Classic Community, I hope you like it. Thank you and see you in another post.
