A recitation of poem ‘স্নান’ by Joy Goswami

I consider Joy Goswami vastly a diverse poet than any other writer in modern times. He was influenced by his father to write poem; although he lost his father in his early life. The meanings of his poems are so profound that one has to read them several times to understand those inner significance. The use of words in each of his poems is so impressive that prompts the richness of Bangla language. In his various poems, love is expressed through distress but in an artistic way. I have recited such a poem which name name is ‘স্নান’. It is a poem where love and sadden mixed together in a daedal way. I always like Joy Goswami as a poet and try to read his poems. But the liking for his work increased even more when I saw him reciting poems with Kabir Suman where Suman was singing. That was an incredible program where poetry and song have created a different environment. However, hope you will enjoy my today's recitation.
