Hello, how are you all, hive friends?

I hope you're all well and always blessed in life 😊

This is my 138th post since I entered the weekly art contest held by @Splinterlands.

Here I drawing the Spineback Turtle character from the Splinterlands Spineback Turtle card game.

I drawing this Splinterlands fanart character because I noticed it was an old character and I hadn't made any fanart for it yet.

He has the appearance of a blue turtle or sea turtle with horns or spikes growing from his head and shell.

This character can kill his opponents instantly with just his movements in the ocean, so I thought I should make fanart of this cruel-looking character with a very strong killing instinct.

I'm quite happy to participate and draw Splinterlands characters to practice my illustration skills.

Overall, making Splinterlands fanart is always fun, because there are so many characters to create fanart for.

For coloring, I used an American comic book style.

To create this character, I used Gpen thick and thin line art.

This time, I didn't have a goal, because just participating in the splinterlands@splinterlands character drawing competition is already really cool in my opinion.

And congratulations to the top 3 winners and the other winners πŸ₯°πŸ˜˜πŸ•ΊπŸ‘‘πŸ‘πŸ’ƒπŸ₯³

Also, thank you to my friends in the Hive community, curators, and other artists who have always supported my work.

I created this work in 6 hours, with 2.5 hours of line sketching and 3.5 hours of coloring and effects.

  3. Wacom Cintiq 13Hd.

Steps from sketch to line art using Gpen with slightly modified parameters in Clip Studio Paint:

Coloring, shading, and lighting using Airbrush and Watercolor brushes with slightly modified parameters, as well as several layer modes, from glow dodge, add, overlay, to multiply:
