Marlene Estefanía Arias, conocida solo como "Marlene"

"Marlene" nació en Puerto Ordaz, Edo. Bolívar. Venezuela, el 9 de Febrero de 1955 y falleció el 31 de Enero del 2023. Era una famosa cantante venezolana que alcanzó el éxito con su disco homónimo que fue lanzado en 1982.
Después del éxito del primer álbum, se comenzó la producción de un segundo disco, pero solo se grabó un tema "Señor de mil palabras" que fue incluido en recopilaciones posteriormente. Tras la edición de su primer álbum, Marlene abandonó su carrera como cantante y desapareció de la vida pública tras casarse.
Marlene es considerada como una de las figuras más importantes de la discografía venezolana de los años 80.

Marlene Estefanía Arias, known only as "Marlene"

"Marlene" was born in Puerto Ordaz, Edo. Bolivar. Venezuela, on February 9, 1955 and died on January 31, 2023. She was a famous Venezuelan singer who achieved success with her self-titled album that was released in 1982.
After the success of the first album, the production of a second album began, but only one song "Señor de mil palabras" was recorded, which was later included in compilations. After the release of her first album, Marlene abandoned her career as a singer and disappeared from public life after getting married.
Marlene is considered one of the most important figures of the Venezuelan discography of the 80s.
