What's buzzing, friends?

There's something interesting about coincidence and probability. They're always interconnected, yet we never really know how. Probability is like the science of coincidence. It tries to explain why certain things happen the way they do. Coincidence is like the art of probability. It's more about the feeling and intuition of why things happen.

Let's talk about a big coincidence that is sorta mind-blowing.

Did you know that the sun and the moon appear to be the same size when you view them from Earth? This is because the sun is 400 times the size of the moon, but it is also 400 times farther away from Earth than the moon. This coincidence is what causes solar eclipses, when the moon passes in front of the sun.

Further, looking at Wikipedia, we learn this wild fact.

The distance of Earth from the Sun is about 108 times the diameter of the Sun (actually closer to 107.51, as per definition of the AU). Actual ratio varies between 105.7 (Perihelion) and 109.3 (Aphelion).
The distance between the Earth and the Moon is also about 108 times the diameter of the Moon. - Source

So, the distance from the moon to Earth, and the Earth to the sun is all lined up so amazingly well. It is almost like it is planned, or is it just a crazy coincidence?
