What's buzzing, friends!

If you want to become an expert in something, you don't necessarily need to know everything about it. You just need to be passionate about it and be willing to learn. For example, if you love to cook, you can become an expert chef without knowing everything about the science of cooking. All you need is a willingness to experiment and a willingness to learn from your mistakes.

That brings us to Nigel Richards and the French World Scrabble Championships.

The World Scrabble Championships are intense. Every year, the best of the best come together to compete for the title of World Scrabble Champion. It's a grueling competition, with players spending hours studying the game and practicing their strategies. But it's also a lot of fun. Players get to meet people from all over the world and test their skills against the best. World Scrabble Championships are held for most languages as well, so it would stand to reason, that if you wanted to win the French World Scrabble Championships, you should know French. Right? Wrong.

Nigel Richards won the French World Scrabble Championships, not once, but twice. The kicker is, he does not know French. To win the championship, he only studied the French dictionary for a few weeks before the championships. Phew, mind blown. You can read more about this HERE.
