Week 09 Questions - Addressing Extreme Poverty
- Is a world without poverty possible? If so how does society take action to move in that direction?
- When thinking of extreme poverty, visions of homelessness in large cities are often the first things to come to mind... if poverty is addressed through nonprofit organizations, government intervention, or individual action would it be possible to also benefit those living in extreme poverty in rural communities?
- What is the root cause of poverty? How much responsibility should society take for such individual circumstances?
