Oldschoolgames - Runescape Classic

Alright now for an actual oldskool game...I played a lot of Runescape Classic in high school and levelled one of the first pure defence stakers with a good friend of mine back in 2003 (all legit, took forever). Fast forward a bit and we started to get big in the mage staking scene. I don't have any footage from that far back but I do have a couple of videos below.

The first one is when RSC opened up again in late 2007 and I bought this account and levelled up to decent stats and went into the high level staking scene on a character called Eco 13. Warning - this account was completely botted and used third party client to gain an advantage (auto switching amulets/prayers/combat stance), everyone was doing it at the time but if you don't like autoing etc don't watch :)

This video is from my famous mage after RSC opened up again in 2009. No bots here, all legit complete with missed casts. I just staked all my party hats until I was 'cleaned' (lost everything) to finally put an end to the character.

I could never get into 'RS2' when it came out in the mid 2000s, wildy pking andstaking in Lumby/Draynor Village was just so much fun and it felt like they completely ruined the game. If anyone plays the current version of Runescape I'd love to know how much this inventory would be worth in the new game:

This was taken when my mage was at it's peak and was very rich.

Has anyone played the current version? Would be interested to hear some thoughts on what it's like especially from someone that may have played the original game.
