I didn’t grow up thinking about digital skills. Back then, all I knew was school, helping at home, and hoping life would somehow work itself out. It was my parents who always said, “Learn something with your hands and your head. School alone is not enough.” At that time, I didn’t fully understand what they meant. I just nodded and moved on. But slowly, I realized I didn’t need to wait for someone to “employ” me before I could be useful. That feeling alone changes how you walk, how you talk, even how you sleep at night.
