Another Cycling Race in the middle of June - Photostory [ENG|ITA]

The ones you find in this post are the photos I took a month ago, during a race located in the area where I live in. The post is part of an initiative I renamed as Towards the Bikend: you can find more explanations in the first episodes CLICKING HERE and HERE.

The competition was reserved for the amateur categories and took place along and within the boundaries of the local industrial zone. I reached several points of the route on my bike and took a handful of photos thanks to my smartphone. Unlike the finish lines organizers usually choose, this time the race ended with the last two hundred meters uphill. I took some pictures at the last hundred meters, catching the passage of some cyclists, arrived in a scattered way.

At home, I chose the photos which I thought were the best ones, and I created a black&white cover for them. I retouched the exposures, the dark and light points, the contrasts, the vignetting. Below, you can find a list with all the final images.

Quelle che vedi in questo post sono le foto che ho scattato circa un mese fa, durante una competizione svoltasi nella zona in cui vivo. Il post fa parte di una rubrica che ho chiamato Towards the Bikend di cui potete trovare più spiegazioni nei primi episodi, CLICCANDO QUI e QUI.

La competizione era riservata alle categorie amatoriali e si svolgeva lungo e all'interno dei confini della zona industriale locale. Ho raggiunto diversi punti del percorso in sella alla mia bici e ho scattato una manciata di foto grazie al mio smartphone. Diversamente dai traguardi che gli organizzatori scelgono di solito, questa volta la gara terminava con gli ultimi duecento metri in salita. Sono riuscito a scattare qualche foto agli ultimi cento metri, riprendendo il passaggio di alcuni ciclisti arrivati alla spicciolata.

A casa ho scelto le foto che reputavo migliori e ne ho creato una versione in bianco e nero. Ho ritoccato esposizioni, punti di luce e ombra, contrasti, ombreggiature. Di seguito puoi trovare una carrellata con tutte le immagini finali.
