Night Photography Contest Round 22
Hello everyone!
It feels good to be back in this community again. I've been away from posting here for a while but I'm glad to be making one today. Photography has been a major interest of mine, and I appreciate this community for its effort and the opportunity to let us put out photography content in the little way we could.
A few days back, I travelled to somewhere, a remote place for a wedding ceremony. The event went well. We danced, ate, drank and celebrated with the bride and groom. It was a relative’s wedding. After the main wedding ceremony, they usually hold an “after party” at night.
I tried to capture this and share it with us. The moon wasn't really shining in its elegance, or maybe because the artificial light from the event set-up took the main stage of that location, so I couldn't notice the moon.
Many danced and I took time to snap. I saw that a lot of the members of the community loved to dance and this “after party” was a routine of theirs in the event of a wedding ceremony like this.
The pictures were taken from a distance. Some of the highlights showed the bride and groom in; white clothes, dancing. Others joined them in the centre to dance and celebrate with them. Several people booked a spot to dance at intervals. That's how it's done.
The DJ (Disc Jockey) did his bid and the MC (Master of Ceremony) did well on his part. The bride and groom later left to retire to bed. Everything went well until later when a fight broke out. A certain individual seemed to have started the fight. He was coherently chased away from the venue.
Later towards midnight, the event folded up and came to an end. Well, it was an experience. Not entirely new, but something not seen in a long while.
PS. My camera wasn't that good.
Images were taken by me.
Thank you for reading through!
