Boot Camp (Konami)

Boot Camp (called Combat School outside of North America) was an arcade game released by Konami in 1987. Whether or not you are familiar with it probably depends on what you did your gaming on in that era. If it was the NES then you missed out on this game. I am not sure why it was not ported to the Nintendo but I suspect it was related to Nintendo's strict licensing requirements. They only allowed licensees to release so many games a year so I suspect this one just didn't make the cut for Konami.

However, if you had a computer then you might be more familiar with this game. It was ported to the Commodore 64, DOS based PCs and other computers. By most accounts, it was a pretty good game.
